A new college season brought a winning start for Mia Hammond. The Duke freshman, who plays an Autopower Snipe shaft, earned individual co-medalist honours in her first collegiate event.

A shared victory on debut

The 2026 Folds of Honor Collegiate took place September 7–9 at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan. The women’s field brought together sixty players from twelve universities over 54 holes of stroke play.

Hammond opened with 70 and followed with 71 to stay among the leaders. A final-round 69 moved her into a tie for first at six-under-par 210 — co-medalist honours on her college debut.

From junior golf to Duke

Originally from New Albany, Ohio, Hammond had established herself before arriving at college. In 2025, she won the Epson Tour’s Greater Toledo Classic as an amateur.

Her first season at Duke began with another milestone. The shared victory gave her a strong opening chapter in a new competitive setting.

A new chapter with Autopower Snipe

Hammond plays Autopower Snipe, a Dumina shaft for golfers who value a firm, stable response through impact.

Dumina’s official blog shared her result following the victories of fellow Snipe players Yana Wilson and Moon Ji-young. Each story comes from a different stage of the game, connected by the equipment the players choose.

Congratulations to Mia Hammond on her collegiate debut and co-medalist finish. We look forward to following her next chapter.
